At 10: 00 a.m. on March 31, 2019, Yi Mengde, executive principal of CCNU No.1 Middle School, brought parents a wonderful lecture on the theme of "what is the goal of education" in the report hall of Hongshan Hotel to discuss new choices and thoughts of international education.

The educational salon was very popular. At the beginning of the lecture, President Yi started a thought-provoking topic, "the goals of education." Parents discussed and shared their educational goals. Later, president Yi introduced the concept of "all-round education", or the cultivation of "talent in an all-rounded way", including "humanistic attainment, scientific spirit, learning habit, healthy life, sense of responsibility, and innovation in practice".

So, how can we achieve the goal of "all-round education"? With this question in mind, President Yi gave a vivid introduction to the educational features of the school in terms of curriculum, bilingual atmosphere, small-class system, social activities and ways of entering the higher school, providing educational suggestions for parents present. Principal Yi said, "CCNU hopes children will be able to discover and solve problems."

This exhibition had not only wonderful lectures, but also a consultation corner to provide consultation for the parents present. It is reported that the school will continue a series of educational salon activities to share more international educational experience. From this autumn, the school will recruit students from grades 1 to 3 and grade 6 or 7 across the province.
